Professional and student dancers auditioning for dance companies and college dance programs are often required to submit a headshot and audition photos along with their application. Make a dynamic first impression with a professional photo shoot to create the photographs that show you in your best light.

Schedule your dance audition photo shoot in our St. Louis studio and we’ll provide you with professional portrait files suitable for printing or electronic submission. (We will also provide you larger versions of your headshot for use elsewhere—in promotional materials or social media, for instance.)

We suggest studious preparation for all aspects of your dance audition photo shoot, including hair and makeup, as well as an appropriate leotard and tights. Hair should be worn up in a bun for ballet poses, and may be worn down for head and shoulders portraits. Ample warmup time is provided prior to the ballet poses.

Because we understand budgets matter, we’ve priced our dance audition photo sessions $50 less than our traditional three-version portrait package. Each dance audition session takes less than 45 minutes in studio and includes three to five deliverables (retouched image files) depending on your application requirements.
